Where Sandton Park is
Sandton Park lies on the north-western edge of Harare, several kilometres beyond Westgate Shopping Centre, in the area growing out towards Mount Hampden. Listings also call it "Sandton" or "Sandton Westgate". It is not Sandton in Johannesburg.
It was developed in phases, and the newest phase falls under Zvimba Rural District Council rather than the City of Harare.

Most of what is for sale in Sandton Park is land: large residential stands, many over 1,000 m², bought to build on. Ownership is mostly by developer or council cession or offer letters rather than title deeds, roads are largely gravel, and homes typically use boreholes and septic tanks.
That makes it a place where buyers get more land for the money, in exchange for doing more of the checking and the building themselves.
